Our condition ratings:
Mint - New unused.
Near Mint - Like new but has been used.
Excellent - Very minor signs of use.
Very Good - Some signs of use.
Good - Obvious ware but in good working order.
Fair - Well used with heavy ware but fully functioning.
Spares or repair - Item not working.
Items can be reserved for up to 14 days with a 20% deposit (non refundable).
30 Day Repair Warranty
We offer a 30 day repair warranty on all the used items we sell. We ask buyers to appreciate the age of the items we offer for sale, whilst our wares are old and often antique we do our utmost to check all their operations and don't offer items that, unless otherwise stated, have operational faults. If your purchase has an undescribed fault we will happily repair it for you if reported in the first 30 days of receipt. We will cover repair costs and shipping. If the error has ruined your film (e.g. light leaks) we will replace your film also.
Please note that our 30 day repair warranty does not cover rangefinder alignments or adjustments beyond 14 days.
Return of Unwanted or Damaged Items
We reserve the right to refuse a refund for any items returned misused, damaged, incomplete, or otherwise returned in a different condition to the original sale. Any and all accessories included with the purchase must also be returned.
It is important to note that some cameras have their quirks and particular processes which must be followed and can be damaged due to improper use (for example, changing a shutter speed before winding a camera on). It is your responsibility to research an item before use and follow the recommended instructions. If you are unsure, please ask us and we can advise you.
We will refund (at our discretion) part of or all the return costs incurred if it is incorrectly supplied or found to be faulty within 14 days of receipt. We will cover up to the cost of the original postage charge for the item when the order was placed.
We unfortunately cannot offer refunds on postage on orders outside of the UK.
If you are not happy with goods received, you must either return the goods to us in keeping with the terms outlined here, or accept them for the price paid.
Unless expressly stated or otherwise agreed prior to purchase, buyers must cover all return costs on order cancellations for any reason apart from those stated above. As we sell used equipment, it is also at our discretion to accept a return for items which have no faults or no other similar issues, such as if the buyer changes their mind about a purchase. If we do accept a return for an item with no faults or other disagreements we charge a 15% restocking fee.
We will refund postal/delivery charges if the item/s received is incorrectly supplied or found to be faulty on receipt. Unless expressly stated or otherwise agreed prior to purchase, buyers must cover all return costs on order cancellations or refunds.
RETURNS FROM OUTSIDE OF THE UK
If you are returning an item from overseas, you must explicitly mark any goods sent back to us from outside the UK as a return on customs forms. In the event of this not being declared correctly, any outstanding customs duty will be deducted from your refund.
